This is us standing beside the worlds longest Longboat. It was being prepared for racing and had not been fully carved yet. The bog that it was found in in 1902, kept the boat well preserved.

This is the ruins of an old church that belonged to Trim Castle. It is most likely that whoever was living in the castle were the only people to attend that church.

This is the Barbican gate found in the grounds of the castle. It was built to prevent attackers gaining access to the castle. There was constantly a guard at this gate to stop unwanted people intruding.
